What if I could fly

I used to often get this dream where I could fly. Ofcourse without Wings or having to flutter my hands. I could see myself just floating in the air and ability to fly higher up and control the speed, direction just in the mind.

Exactly the way Iron man manuevers and flies at will, with the help of his Suit. This dream used to come much before I saw Iron Man character on screen.

I don't even remember since when I used to get such dream or when it stopped, as I don't get that dream of late.

According to one the phycologist - "Dreams about flying often represent two very different sides. On the one hand, such dreams can represent feelings of freedom and independence. On the other hand, they can also indicate a desire to flee or escape from the realities of life.

"Flying alone occurs most frequently," he writes, "showing the independent aspect of flying. But because it often involves positive feelings of pleasure, flying may depict our sexuality…especially aspects of it expressing freedom from social norms and restraints."

I am not getting into probing why I used to get such a dream or what it means, as I really don't care. I just loved the feeling of of being able to fly, feeling superior and privileged to have such a magical ability.

The closest real life flying experience I had was when I did parasailing in Goa last year. The feeling was similar, magical and It was so calm and peaceful up there.

Now imagine some of us had this ability to fly around in real life - This is purely imaginary and fictional thought, with no logic, science in it; so don't ask me about thrust, buoyancy and lift.

Having the freedom to move around at will, zooming past trees, hi fives with birds, Manuevering to avoid mobile and electric towers.

Things you would need before you could step out wud be Ski Goggles, more than a footwear. People would prefer Pump shoe more than a slipper as it could fall off. Mobile accessories would include tags so that it doesn't slip away.

With this ability to fly restricted to privileged few, cluttering and bumping into each other mid air would not be a problem.

Balcony doors and terrace would become our main entry and exit points.
People would have tinted glass on their Windows to avoid peeping toms ;)

There would have been no borders that we couldn't cross without a Visa.

Law enforcement agencies would have found it difficult to stop people entering other countries. There would be new rules to permanently "ground" those who peed in public.
We could take revenge on the pigeons and poop on them too!!

I would have capitalized on this and made it a business opportunity for fastest ever last mile deliveries - by air!
