HUMANS - SUBJECTIVE SUBJECTS
BY
MURALI MURTHY
We humans are subjective subjects. Our thoughts, needs, desires, ambitions change based on situation, environment and mood!
Series of Questions and Dilemmas we face everyday and the responses differ in each phase of our lives.
Are Grass Greener on the other side Or all sides?
Are Beaches and Mountains only meant for Holidays Or can they be made Home?
Nationalism and Patriotism is subjective and when native Language, Water, Land of the State is in question, Statehood pride takes precedence over Nationalism.
Should God protect us Or should we protect God?
Should Govt and Leaders defend their policies Or the Citizens supporting them?
Cricket, Politics, Movies are our biggest entertainers and actors in each industry are our Heroes and Gods.
Is Travelling and Vacationing, a break from Work Or breakout from Work?
When we always crave for Hotel Food, why do we find peace with daily food at home?
Why are always other Women/Men, more attractive than your own?
When you have to define/introduce yourself, do you identify your self with your Profession or Personality or Family?
What do you find most difficult to say: Sorry Or Thank you Or Love You?
Why do we always think we are the Smartest and others are Crazy?
We always feel our problems are bigger and complicated than others.
Why do we feel we deserve more than what life and fate has to offer us?
We want the kind of money power others have, the social life the others have, life style others have, health others have.
Why do we always become philosophical, emotional and Frank when we are drunk?
Seek inspiration from others Or be an inspiration yourself.
Do you want to gain knowledge on morality, righteousness by reading what others have written, based on their own perceptions Or learn morals based on our own life experiences?
In our line of work, do we do the job that we enjoy the most Or do we do a job that we are most efficient at Or do we do a job that the Company benefits the most from?
Why does all the oldies keep wishing for their death soon? Do they know it will be better in after life?
Nityanandas, Sadhgurus, Oshos, Modis of the world have proven that good oratory skills and holding the pulse of the people seeking, will always find millions of awestruck clapping hands.
Why do I expect you to like what I like, and see you in bad light if you don't like what I like?
Why do people put up Gyan and Philosophies (Mostly Forwarded) on FB and WhatsApp Status? Is it to indirectly convey a message to someone? Or is it to preach others based on Forwarded Gyan?
Do I also give Gyan in my writings? I think its just a space where I vomit my thoughts out.
