An unprecedented situation and a crisis that the world has never seen before.
A week of informal closures leading to 21 days of complete Lock down, forcing everyone to stay indoors.
With Businesses shut and not much of work to do, keeping myself engaged is becoming a challenge by the day.
Thanks to Whatsapp, Facebook, Amazon Prime & NetFlix, that are keeping me entertained and away from the News Channels, thankfully.
Such binge watching is only leaving painful eyes by the evening, and late evenings are usually depressing :(
Keeping myself and my team active and productive is even more challenging, trying to come up with innovative ideas by getting on a daily 1 hour call with everyone for few mock drills and some online training lined up.
Vegetable and Grocery Shopping once in a week are the only getaways, walk on the Terrace are the outings.

With such a hectic work life I had from past 5 to 7 years, my mind just doesn't stop thinking and my fingers just can't stop typing. It made me now realize that I don't know anything else to keep myself engaged, apart from Working! With no special talent, hobby, skills, no interest in house-hold work, I would be such a waste if I am not working. One of my good friend rightly asked "What would you do when you retire?". Time to introspect!
I now realize work pressure is not the only reason one gets stressed mentally, but being idle and doing nothing is also mental stress!
The situation has no doubt pulled down global and Indian economy, which will badly hit businesses and mine are no exception. We already feel the heat and foresee lot of turbulence and expecting situation not conducive for Business. It will be test of times, test of character and test of mettle. With one of my businesses already fallen apart, looking for a fresh start and keeping fingers crossed!
This will surely leave many unemployed, many businesses biting the dust. With many businesses and companies opting for Cost cutting measures to survive the turbulence and no new investments made, many service providers will bear the brunt.
Positive side to this, probably my body & mind needs rest from the hectic routine and let the body rejuvenate & detox from the daily abuse, and maybe this will put breaks on my hair fall ;)
Ugadi festival amidst Lock Down gave some respite, to the otherwise dull days

Some of the most creative Memes going around:
"Dear Lord, please uninstall and Re-install 2020, it has a Virus!"
"Planet Earth: Closed for Repairs"
"A notice from the Psychiatric Association: Dear Citizens, During this lock down it is considered normal to talk to your Walls, Plants and Mirror. Please contact us only if they Reply".
