A Collective of write-ups on frustrations and disappointments in our daily lives

Hindu-tva to Hindi-tva!
After an exceedingly successful campaign and astounding response in spreading the venom and creating divide based on religion, now the divide is being created based on Language.
The Gujju Duo who can't speak a line in English, might be doing this to cover their inability to learn a Language, instead imposing on all Indians.
The P.M who is hailed as a Global Leader and whose vision is to make ours an international destination for Education wants to make Hindi mandatory!!
I guess this is his way to create Jobs, and make entire India use Translators!
The word "Diversity" is something the Duo seems to hate.
While fuel, food and commodity prices being hiked, they used the communal disturbance like a Pro to keep Devotees and Media busy.
The Devotees are so blind and aroused that they can goto any extent to praise their Masters, they even defended price rise!
I am waiting for the defense these Devotees might come up with when they will defend Hindi imposition and I will laugh my ass off that day when they can even let go off Kannada Pride.
The only hope is with Tamil Nadu, Kerala, WB and alikes who might stand strong and oppose, who not only have the respect for their Language, but take pride in speaking their own language.
The Devotees and the local Govt here in Karnataka can only follow orders and can sell themselves in serving their Masters.
There is a limit for breaking harmony and diversity of a nation. High time they and Devotees stop being provocative, mischievous and divisive, and focus on leading a better life and doing some productive and progressive thinking!
The National Language
India has around 43% of Hindi speaking population. So, does it qualify to become the language of the nation?
It's like saying because BJP has 37% of Indians voting for them, can they think entire India supports them and their ideology?
So, is India the only multi-ethnic, multi-lingual country in the world and problem unique only to India?
Ofcourse not..countries like Tanzania, Indonesia and Singapore also had the same problem. Fortunately, they had pragmatic leaders who wished to unite people. And all of them adapted and picked an ethnically neutral Link Language, that belonged to no one, and therefore could belong to all.
They prioritised inclusiveness, trade and business over everything else!
The intent of the leaders matters to every move!
Thank you Modi...Ji
When the "Clapping Boys" kept hailing the lordship for doing some infrastructure development work somewhere far and unseen places, by posting promo images, I was wondering: it's fine, but how will it help me and millions of ordinary citizens, when the roads we travel on a daily basis, the roads leading to our home are still a replica of the Moon surface.
Thanks to Modi Ji's visit to Bangalore and our neighborhood: magic....all the roads are patched..the same roads for years that didn't see smooth Tar, the roads which punctured many tyres, weakened the shocks, weakened the back bones, finally got into some motorable shape.
I urge Modi Ji is keep visiting Bangalore every year, before the monsoon, and help us all!
I am sure his agenda will also be served, as a bhashan will surely be arranged each time, and 1000s will assemble to clap and hail.
The 80 barrier
Why is there so much hue and cry over Dollar exchange rate having crossed 80 Rs?
It is a normal economic process for value of certain country's currency going up and down.
Value of Rupee has been on the decline historically, now it has only crossed a benchmark. It's just a number and doesn't mean anything. A fall from 79 to 80 is just a fall by another rupee!
Rupee value has been falling ever since 2013, and had dropped by around Rs. 20 till 2020.
Covid, the war in Ukraine, high dependency on Fuel Imports have all contributed to the further slide by Rs. 6 down in last one year.
Economy is a system and will find its own equilibrium and balance out sooner or later.
As long as the "tall leaders" do not finger with it and burden it further, the graph will find its own path. Demonitization, GST has done enough damage, derailing the export sector.
I am not even assuming Rupee value was bright and growing prior to 2014, it was falling then as well.
But the hurls of "weak PM, weak Rupee" in the context of the chest thumping did way back in 2014 - "Strong PM, Strong Rupee", is such a tight slap on the "clapping boys" and devotees.
Eligibility Criteria
Take any profession, there is a criteria, one must qualify, eligibility must be proved to first get the job and also to retain and grow through out the career.
Be it Engineers, Doctors, Lawers, Teachers, or any other field, you have to perform constantly to survive. Even a Peon job in Govt or Private, will have an eligibility criteria and has to go through stringent process to get the job.
But, Politicians, Auto Drivers and Cabbies are the only three professions where there is no such qualifying criteria or eligibility filtering done.
Any Rich guy, Real estate guy, Rowdy sheeter can become a politician, with money power and few supporters around.
Anyway winning elections is an art now a days - electioneering, and no more traditional way of demonstrating his worthiness to be elected. Just catch the pulse of the people, hold on to emotions, woo people based on agenda and by politians own submission, spend Rs. 25 Cr per election, and you keep getting elected. All they have to do is to play with sentiments of around 30% of their target audience, and rest of the promotion is done by them.
The Auto drivers and Cabbies think they own the roads, they do anything and get away. They just do not want to follow any traffic rules and drive carelessly and constantly engage into road rages.
If you encounter an accident with them, irrespective of whose mistake it was, you have to be prepared to be abused and overpowered.
People in these 3 professions have absolutely no regard to law, rules, no respect to people and are audacious.
I don't want to be politically correct and say "Am not painting all of them with same brush", I do believe all are same.
All of them lack sensibility, sensitivity and common sense. Probably that's their Eligibility Criteria!
Live Coverage
Reporter 1: Sir, tell me what happened? What did you see?
Witness: I was standing across road, it was late in the night, I couldn't see the scene very clearly. I think the murderer was wearing a Red shirt, he came and stabbed the victim in the stomach and fled.
Reporter 1: As you can clearly see Viewers, this man who was right there when the murder occurred says a man wearing a white skullcap, having long beard pierced knife into an innocent man, just because he was wearing a Tilak.
Reporter 2: Sir, tell me what happened? What did you see?
Witness: I was standing across road, it was late in the night, I couldn't see the scene very clearly. I think the murderer was wearing a Red shirt, he came and stabbed the victim in the stomach and fled.
Reporter 2: As you can clearly see Viewers, this man was right next to the crime scene, and he says a man wearing a tilak and a saffron shawl pierced knife into an innocent man, just because he was wearing a white skullcap.
The perpetrator later in the court admits to have killed his own friend from whom he had taken loan, but he couldn't repay on time, and his friend was threatening and abusing and intimidating his family.
Reporter 1: As you see viewers, the twist given by the politicians with communal angle is proved wrong again.
Reporter 2: Because of our constant reporting, Police were forced to close this case at the earliest.
Bhashan pandits
15th Aug, another Bhashan "It pains me to see and witness women being insulted, Can we not pledge to get rid of everything in our behavior, culture and everyday life that humiliates and demeans women? Women's pride is going to be a huge asset in fulfilling the dreams of the nation. I see this power and therefore I am insistent on it."
Same day, somewhere in his home town, one of his own party man "Some of the convicts in the Bilkis Bano case of the 2002 Gujarat riots are "Brahmins" with good 'sanskaar' or values and it is possible they may have been fixed due to their past family activities", who was a part of the State government panel (5 out of 10 members being BJP men) that recommended remission to all the 11 men found guilty.
In another TV debate, another party man justifies "All have been released on the humanitarian grounds as they have spent 15 years in jail"
Humanitarian ground? Seriously?? This is Humanitarian Paralysis!
Crime: A 5 month old pregnant woman was gang raped, her daughter was smashed to the ground to death and other children's head severed.
It's Ok and absolutely fine to love and follow a Politician, but this vulgar display of love to clap to everything and blind praises to the lordship, is only making a bright leader blind and deaf with applause.
If every possible good things, progress and growth in the country is attributed to one man, who is responsible for bad things?
It's numbing to see these mentally paralyzed clapping boys defending everything, and calling any opposing/questioning population as Idiots!
Go ahead and clap to Bhashans, it's fine, thats what we Indian voters have been tuned to do so.
End of the day, it is equally fine to question what is wrong. Especially when those 11 men were garlanded and welcomed with sweets.
God save the country and citizens with Bhakts justifying this as well!!!
The true freedom fighters
75 years of freedom, and we are still fighting over who were the true freedom fighters.
One with ideological agenda who promoted Hindu Nationalism and co-founder of "Hindutva", who supported and fought for 2 nations based on religion, and who endorsed Nazism over Democracy, is obviously the mentor and godfather for Team B.
Even to this day and age, religion is a card played by all politicians across party lines and irony, people still fall for it.
Ofcourse, India and we Indians have done a commendable job in using the Freedom to achieve what we are today, despite all the agenda, motive based politics played by every politician since 75 years.
It also pains to see this Freedom is misused and abused, with no sense of responsibility - careless driving, flouting all rules, blocking traffic, blocking roads in the name of processions, celebrations and political rallies, at the cost of other's freedom.
It still sends shivers down the spine, when I recollect my Hyderabad experience of the most unruly, violent and scary Eid celebrations!
The poor Cops who are supposed to be the enforcers of law gets sandwiched between public outcry and political pressure.
And if the same outcry is targeted against politicians, especially when Team B is questioned and the Freedom of speech is expressed, the door is shown to Pakistan!
We all enjoy the fruits of the freedom, Such minor irritants troubles when the freedom is abused. A better discipline and more stricter implementation of rules and law would make things more ideal.
