A Collective of write-ups on celebrating life

Happy Deepavali
The festival of lights has brought happiness and a new ray of hope. The brightness of the lights has indeed fizzled out the struggles and sorrows of last 2 years.
Any festival preparation will be incomplete without a visit to DVG Road, Gandhi Bazaar for shopping. The old Bangalore charm, the joy of traditional shopping itself sets up the festive mood.
With a hope to remove the darkness that has clouded us, we lit the entire house with deepa and decorated our home with lights.
Celebrations were a notch up this time, with more fire crackers than the food preparations.
Wishing everyone a very Happy Deepavali 🎉🎊🎁🧨🪔
Happy New Year
If anything every new year teaches us, is to be hopeful, be optimistic and aspire for better times ahead.
Some might say It's only Calendar that changes and not our fate or luck.
One obvious and tedious change we all have to get used to is when we write date in Cheques and Documents!
The age old astrology is still something We all (sometimes secretly) read to see What's in store for us in the new year.
Every New Year surely brings in joy, hope, optimism...after a hectic night party, people throng temples and places of worship, family lunch to start every new year with positivity.
Just go out on the streets and look around on 1st Jan of every year, there is a sense of positivity, good vibes, hope and a sense of new beginning. Let's keep the hope and aspirations alive, that's what keeps us all motivated!
Happy Birthday
Birthdays are meant to be celebrated. It shows how much you are loved, cared. It is a day one is pampered with wishes and gifts.
I have always pampered my wife by gifting her memories that helps her cherish each of her birthday!
The memories she will have of her Birthday this year are the time spent coughing together, comforting each other, as we spend this beautiful evening lying tired on the bed, for different reasons!
If not Wine, I toast with this cough syrup and wish you a happy, healthy year ahead 💐
Happy Valentine's Day
Though I do not strongly believe in celebrating Valentine's Day, but hey, it's a day dedicated to Love and expression of Love...so, why not!
We constantly seek someone to love, someone to pour love on and expect the same kinda passion, attention in return.
It is but natural that we experience decline in desire and spark in long term relationships.
The Chicken which we always thought we had, starts to taste like Dal. Its always true that my Chicken tastes like Dal to me, other's Dal seems like a Chicken to me and my Dal seems like a Chicken to others.
Rejuvenation and recharging is the key to rekindle the lost magic, and that's what we try to do, by regularly doing some of our favourite things together.
Wishing everyone Love!
Music In Me
I wish I had Music in me...The Music to sooth the ears of my dears, a song to calm my temper, a tune to spread love, a beat to make the loved ones skip their heart beat, a rhythm to connect to divinity..I really wish I had Music in me, all I have in me is Lyrics of Songs that was never Sung.
Indian Weddings
Indian weddings go big on colours, bling with smiles all over. The glitter, gala and jubilance is incomplete without the well dressed wedding guests.
The outfits are part of the celebratory ambiance, every wardrobe option and accessory is considered and we tend to go the extra mile in terms of dress to reflect our joy and love for the couple marrying.
Dressing up...Is it an Armour to survive? Is it escapism from reality? Is it a therapy to feel good? Or is it a self reflection?
Happy Birthday Krishna!
You are an inspiration....You are the epitome of romance, love, affection, style, forgiveness.
You are one of the few Gods loved by all, than feared.
Your glory and stories is a joy and inspiration to loads of art works, be it painting, poetry or music.
Your Form is a personification of divinity and devotion. You are the ultimate Guru and your teachings are motivation to lead a better life.
Bless the humanity with common sense, forgiveness, discipline, tolerance, respect for fellow humans and morality.
Happy Deepavali
